HR Surveys – A must do!

To ensure employees morale is high, productivity is high and retention possible, HR surveys are a must do.
Surveys are a strong 2 way communication tool as the results from the surveys provides feedback that informs decision making. The feedback received also helps HR practitioners understand the impact of their programs and informs areas for improvement.

Must do surveys include;

HR Audit surveys
Entrance interviews
Employee Satisfaction Surveys
Employee Engagement Surveys
Salary Surveys
Exit Interviews
Training Needs Analysis

These surveys can be annual or bi-annual. It is important to start by creating benchmarks and develop your own customized questionnaires/interview guides. Off the shelf surveys are available specifically online however may not be well synchronized to your business environment.
Data analysis can be tedious if you have very many employees, but the outcome is worthwhile. A report with graphical representation, percentages and short statements summarizing each finding is best as it is straight to the point.
